Pipette is an excellent tool to have around, especially for designers. It gives you the possibility of capturing any color on your screen, with a single click. Also, the application is capable of saving your captured colors and it can provide you with a color's coordinates. If you see a color in a video, on a website or anywhere else and you wish to use it in your own projects, this simple application will help you reproduce it with pinpoint accuracy.
The software is absolutely free and you can use it on all modern Windows platforms. What's more, Pipette doesn't need to be installed. All you have to do is download an executable file and run it. Also, you don't have to install any prerequisite tools and the hardware requirements are insignificant.
Pipette comes with a compact user interface, on which you don't have to interact with too many controls. You can start capturing colors immediately, just by clicking a button and placing the mouse cursor over the color you wish to capture. Alternatively, you can pick a color from a color dialog. The colors you capture show up in a box, next to the color preview, on the top portion of the user interface.
Once you capture a color, its coordinates will show up on the lower half of the user interface. The color will be represented in HEX, RGB, CMYK and many other ways. What's more, a series of Copy options are available next to each set of coordinates, so you can send them to the clipboard instantly.
Any color on your screen can be reproduced with a single click, thanks to Pipette's straightforward functionality.
